Christmas Service

Our pupils enjoyed a very special school trip to St Andrew’s Church for our Christmas Service, celebrating the true meaning of Christmas through music, readings and reflection.

The service was filled with beautiful singing from across the school. The children sang Little Donkey, Away in a Manger, Shepherds’ Song and Three Kings Have Journeyed Far, finishing the service joyfully with Merry Christmas Everyone. Their enthusiasm and confidence made the performance a delight for everyone attending.

We were treated to a lovely nativity song from Acorn and Conker Class, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the congregation. Oak Class shared thoughtful readings and some pupils played the piano with great confidence and skill. Elm Class performed a poem, speaking clearly and proudly in front of the audience.

We would like to thank Rev’d Steve for giving us such a warm welcome and for sharing the story of Christmas in a fun, engaging and memorable way using sweets, which the children loved.

Thank you to all of the parents, carers and grandparents who joined us at the service and supported the children. It was a wonderful celebration and a meaningful way to come together as a school community at this special time of year.

Welcome
