Oak Class - Term 1

During our first week back, we started exploring our topic in science for this term - Light. We recapped sources of light, thinking about it common misconceptions such as the moon. The children then learnt that all light appears to travel in a straight line. In order to test this statement, the children worked together to explore how light travelled through three pieces of card with holes in. They discovered that as they misaligned the holes in the card pieces, the light was blocked by the pieces of card.
